Sometimes you have to draw some sexiness for Jimmy Kimmel Live, especially when William Shatner is involved. Very honored. Check out the craziness here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDkC_EkEUCg

THIS MAN HAS NO DICK is a painting honoring one of the best villains of all time in a setting around the concept of what the Ghostbusters do in their downtime which is throwing darts at a picture of Walter Peck! Each dart represents one of the Ghostbusters by the initial AND color uniform they wore in the cartoon The Real Ghostbusters!

For Seattle’s Ltd. Art Gallery comic book themed show in March, I decided to do a mashup of Tales from the Crypt and American Splendor, merging the Cryptkeeper and Harvey Pekar drawn in the style of famed Splendor artist Robert Crumb. The quote is a Pekar line that I found fitting for the Cryptkeeper.
The original 11”x14” piece will be available for purchase as well as 20 prints. http://www.ltdartgallery.com/

My piece for Ltd. Gallery’s Tribute to B-Movies. “Carpenter”, 7 of John Carpenter’s films combined. 11x17” acrylic on illustration board.
Walter Peck, the notorious villain from the cult comedy Ghostbusters realized as a dart board for the Ghostbusters’ enjoyment. Note each dart baring an initial from each of the Ghostbusters; Peter, Ray, Egon, Winston and Jenine. Also note how each color coincides with the uniform color that character wore in The Real Ghostbusters.
Prints available upon request!

My submission to the Patriotism themed art show at Chicago’s Gallery 27 - “Gonzo Reincarnate” 11”x14” Hunter S. Thompson if he were reincarnated as an American Bald Eagle complete with his signature tinted glasses, cigarette holder, Hawaiian shirt an American flag draped around him, holding a hand gun. I thought a Ralph Steadman-esque Colorado background (Hunter S. Thompson’s resting place) would complete the image.

ANDREW W.K.
15”x40”, oil on canvas.
Bloodied tshirt with his signature white jeans and rock move of shoving the microphone down the front of his pants when he plays the piano.
His initials AWK also spelled out at the bottom with the disconnected microphone wire and escaped electricity.
This painting is for sale. And remember…Never Let Down (probably my favorite AWK song).
My homage to one of my favorite filmmakers featuring 10 of his films; Annie Hall, Bullets Over Broadway, The Purple Rose of Cairo, Manhattan, Broadway Danny Rose, Zelig, Sweet and Lowdown, Stardust Memories, Hannah and her Sisters and Midnight in Paris.
14”x17” pencil and acrylic on mixed media paper.
